Bit the Big One

Apparently the movers killed my desktop computer as well.  Went and bought a new laptop.  Still pissed off.  But, I loves my new MacBook so far.  Still hoping to fix the HP as well but I am not crossing my fingers, you should hear the noises coming from that piece of crap.

  4. Oh wow, you're really really going to love your Mac. Do you think you can build a case to have the movers reimburse you for the damaged PC?

  8. Kat, were these movers hired by the military? On my way back from England, the military lost our brand new futon bed and two new bikes. Now I ask you, how the hell do you lose JUST a futon bed. I could maybe accept the bikes but ugghh! And they never reimburse you what you paid for it.

  10. Sorry to hear of your loss. As for the MacBook (is that like a big Mac with McFries) I'm with David Mitchell on that score:

  12. I'm so jealous! I'm thinking my computer needs to have "an accident". A very very bad accident.

  13. You have an HP computer? And you're hoping to get it to work again?

That's like asking a fifth grader to fix the economy. It's just not going to happen.

HP stands for "Hunk of Poo".

  14. Yay MacBook!!! My hp desktop was the least reliable machine I ever had, followed by the Sony Vaio (more expensive than a Mac) notebook. I do not miss either and am on my 2nd Mac laptop-- there was nothing wrong with the first one when I got the second but it was the switch from power of to intel chips that made me get the second one! Good luck with it all! I can highly recommend the time capsule for backing things up too!

  18. You've gone to the dark-side?

I'm toying with the idea 'next time' but am also looking at the Dell 9, for mobile usage.
