Jedi Powers

Last night while we were watching the Sox game on T.V, I was showing "The Man" some of the flair that I had received from friends on facecrack..I mean book. We get to the piece of flair above that says "Automatic Doors Make Me Feel Like A Jedi" and my husband starts laughing like it is the funniest thing he has ever seen. Now, it is funny, but it it isn't that funny. That is when I got the rest of the story.

See apparently when my husband went to go refill his perscription at the Med Group Clinic for his antiacid medication last week, he used his index finger and middle finger together, like a jedi, and made the motion to move the automatic door open. Once inside he was praying that nobody saw his geek-dom. Well maybe nobody saw, but now the whole internets knows. Way to go there, "The Man". You are now offically a geek.

What's to be ashamed of? Jeti powers are cool!

LOL! Our boys use their jedi powers to open automatic doors too. Maybe it's a boy thing.

Life is no fun if the Internet can't know about this stuff.

LOL I'd like to have a set of those! The ones on NCIS at the autopsy lab (shiny stainless steel) are so cool, but they'd freak out the dog.

I have absolutely no difficulty picturing him using his jedi powers...I'm sure Mike has done the same! :) Thanks for sharing your blog with me! I want to keep up with you and my girlies while you're gone...the savings account for a trip to England has begun!

I don't know enough about Jedi powers to even know there was a finger movement associated with it. I am hanging my head in shame.

I do this ALL THE TIME.

I'm also convinced that traffic lights turn green because I tell them to.

I'm not up on the Jedi moves either, but as long as he got a good laugh, that's all that matters.

My husband and his brother quote Star Wars all the time. If I hear "These aren't the drodes your looking for" one more time, I'm gonna scream!

My husband and my pseudo-nephew do the same exact thing. They also do it for red lights and anywhere else they can make it fit somehow. It drives me crazy.

I taught my kids to do this at an early age. Nothing wrong with what hubby did. He obviously has a high mitichlorian count.
