Random Tuesday Thoughts- My Heathen Kids

Tuesday Random Thoughts:  My way to release the crazy stored up in my head from the past week.  Enjoy, the go see Keely, grab the button and release your own crazy upon the intenetz.

randomtuesday

My landlord's agent came by on Wed to look that the broke toilet (it still isn't fixed) and while she was here LaLa just had to show the lady her bedroom.  As we were going down the hall I swore I smelled dog poop.  Let's get this straight people, my dog has pooped in my house ONCE and it was my fault for not letting her out the night before.  I was completely befuddled.  I played it cool and pretended that the smell did not exist and when the lady left I went running around the back of my house looking for poop.  I couldn't find any poop.  Then I went in the bathroom and saw tell tale skid marks in the toilet.  "LaLa did you poop a minute ago?"  "Yeah!!!"  God, I hope that woman didn't smell my child's stankness.

And so it begins...my daughter says the last letter of the alphabet is zed.

Ok, so usually I change KiKi's diaper right after her nap, but I fell asleep with her too yesterday and usually she wakes me up if I do this, but she didn't.  So, when I got up and went into the living room to chill out with The Man, I didn't even think about her diaper cause she usually tells me about it (I know I should be working on potty training, but I don't really know if she is ready).  So, then she comes into the living room in nothing but her diaper (it is hot in our house and we have no AC) spreads her legs slightly and starts shaking her butt back and forth with her pee heavy diaper swinging back and forth like a pendulum and declares "I got pee!"  The Man looks and me and we both start laughing and this makes her do it even more.  By the time The Man had her diaper changed we were laughing so hard that we had tears streaming down our faces.

Everytime I hear Susan Boyle (from Britain's Got Talent) sing it makes me cry.  She has the voice of an angel.

My kids are a completely crap sleep schedule now that it is half term break.  Past 10pm and not in bed.  Yes, mom fail.

Ahhh, speaking of half term break...a week of not having to wake up at 7:30 AM.  Just kidding, KiKi will still be in my room wide awake and bushy tailed promptly at 6:30 AM demanding juice and me to turn the TV on to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  I hate that show, but Mickey sure does make a good babysitter early in the morning.

North Korea is acting up again.  Awesome.  Nothing says "screw America" like doing a nuclear test and launching long range missiles on Memorial Day.

And with that, I'm done.

I STILL SAY ZED AFTER BEING OVER HERE 25 YEARS...LOL..

YOU HAVE THE SENSE OF HUMOUR OF A BRIT BY THE WAY...DOES THAT MAKE SENSE??

I take it you were watching BGT last night too then? I was roped into it, love Flawless, but DJ Talent has pushed me into a mental breakdown.

Love the Random THoughts... I am joining in on this today, too. :)

And--- I just noticed in your sidebar that you were stationed in MO. Fort Leonard Wood? If so, my parents live about 25 min. from there and I stop at the Starbucks in the Smitty's there every time I go by. :)

The only time I've heard Susan Boyle sing is when she was on Oprah. I can't stand Oprah, but Susan Boyle is awesome. You're right... that woman has the voice of an angel.

Susan Boyle DOES have the voice of the angel. and good thing your Dog did NOT leave a pile for your landlord to see.

I've never heard her sing, but I might have to you tube her.

I'd like to say the new pup Stella has only crapped in the house once, but I'd be lying!

I know a guy named Zed who is from the UK. I never knew he was named after the alphabet though. And he had five brothers and sisters with normal names. Huh. Maybe being the youngest, his parents were being symbolic with the "this better be the last child!" notice?

I haven't heard the second take of Susan Boyle yet so I'll have to hunt it down!

Happy RTT & mine's posted too!

I don't even live in the UK and I try to follow BGT. It's kinda sad. It's better than our shows over here. So tired of American Idol. DJ Talent is an idiot. I do love Flawless. The Stavros Flatley team is probably one of my favorites as well as Eugene the Librarian. And that one kid who can DANCE, like REALLY REALLY DANCE!

Lovely RTT! I was almost expecting your dog to have pooped in the bathroom. Yeah, I know. I have my moments.

Happy Random Thoughts Tuesday!
I played too.

At least your kid had an excuse for not flushing cause of the toilet being broken and stuff, right? :)

My hubby and I watched Susan Boyle on youTube and she has an awesome talent.. I hope she wins! :)

Happy Tuesday! :)

My dog has pooped inside the house exactly twice. Once when we first got him and once when we moved to our current house. Both times I went to completely nuts that it seems to have permanently cured him of that behavior. Glad yours was just a loaded toilet. lol.

My two year old has also taken to screaming "I got pee" every time his diaper's droopy. Potty training though, I'm not ready!

Happy RTT.

I know exactly where you're coming from. I'm the only American left, but considering I'm only British by marriage, that's not surprising. My younger daughter still leaves the toilet unflushed, and she's seven. And when she was a baby (18 months - 3 years), she loved to shake her little booty.

my dogs name is zed so that is perfectly fine

Zed...ahhh yes. The one side of my family is Canadian and zed really cracks me up! Weird huh?

Great RTT! I'm following you now! Yay!

oh I am so glad to hear that I am not the only parent who lets there kids stay up all night !!

I love Susan Boyle and im not even a bgt fan , i watch just for her.

There should never be a rush on toilet training, to me its just a big hassle and easier when there still in nappies lol

Her "I got pee" diaper is pretty funny - I could just picture it, and you both with the tears...kids can be so funny sometimes!

Elizabeth Bradley said...

I attended the last two years of high school in Canada, they say zed there too. I agree with Lyn, you do have a rather English sense of humor.

I wish we could get 'Britain's got Talent' here in the states. Honestly, I'd like to see if Simon has the attitude with his fellow countrymen as he does with Americans.

So much poop and pee talk...it's like breakfast, lunch AND dinner at my house.

Mike said...

LOL! Poop, pee and North Korea, I see a theme haha!

I love that you called your children heathens. I also call my kids heathens and get the nastiest looks from people.

KMcJoseph said...

I've got a 22 month old and her new thing is calling every speck of dirt or string hanging off a shirt "A BEE A BEE A BEE" as if there are bugs everywhere.

"Got peepee?" The next big ad campaign!

Zed's dead, baby, zed's dead....

your post is so funny LOL

that 'zed' business is pretty funny. i live in texas - i don't say 'yall' unless i'm mocking someone but i do say 'arse' and get plenty of mocking in return. we don't speak the same language at all, do we?

happy tuesday!

Susan Boyle makes me cry too! I heard her clip this AM on the radio and started balling.

I love your daughter's diaper trick. I guess it wouldn't be the same if I tried it though.

But...but...it IS 'zed'!
