De-cluttering Life

I think everyone comes to a point in their life that they say, "this isn't working it isn't making me happy". I have come to that point. I have too many things in my life that just aren't working for me anymore. I am doing a life reorganization and a good old de-cluttering. The house is being reorganized, as is my schedule and priorities. My guide in this endeavor is this philosophy, "If it doesn't make me happy or enrich my families life, I will not keep it or do it".

This is going to be the season of no. Saying no to clutter in my house and saying no to clutter in my life.

Wow, that's gonna be big. Looking forward to hearing about the results!
Kat, can I copy you with this? It sounds like a *fabulous* plan! Just what I need to do too!
Sounds like a good plan! Please let us know how it goes.
Love decluttering. I have just taken myself off a committee for the same reason. I felt bad doing it because it's a volunteer position, but I needed to. Good luck.
Good for you! House clutter was a huge problem for me and we finally solved that issue when we moved this summer and I was forced to deal with all the excess crap. It was so liberating! Now, I'm working on my weight problem which is cluttering my life heavily. Wishing you the best of luck on your decluttering!
I could not agree more missy! Makes life feel so much better not to have STUFF around...good luck and high five!
Amen! I wish I could have that resolve right now!
If it isn't going to matter to you in two years, get rid of it. Whatever it is or whoever it is. Believe me, when you get older the less cluttered life needs to be.

Love and kisses,

Granny
Ummm www.iheartorganizing.blogspot.com is my new obsession. She goes farther than I could ever but she has some great ideas! Miss you guys!
Amen to that.
In my case, I love my mum (she is my mum, after all) but living with her is just not working. But I can't declutter her, or can I? Trying to figure it out.
Earlier today I wrote how something was making me unhappy and I needed to fix it. I feel slightly better for doing so but it doesn't fully fix the situation - it does, however, give me some breathing space, for which I am grateful.

Hope you're feeling less "cluttered" soon x
It can feel so liberating - a good clear out! do let us know what goes on the list won't you!
Testimony, out there! Maybe we will bump into each other on our way to dropping off the excess baggage at the curb :)
