RTT- Antics at the Bungalow

So, it's Tuesday. Again...it's like they just keep coming or something. Anyhow, onto the random thoughts. Don't forget to tip your waitress.

Yesterday, KiKi nicked a £2 coin off my nightstand. Now, like most American children (and adults), KiKi assumes that change is worthless. However, once you do the conversion, KiKi nicked roughly $3.20 off my nightstand in one fail swoop. How do you feel about your change now?

Also, last night, KiKi decided she would try to outsmart me. I told her it was time for bed, and she was extremely agreeable to the proposition. For those of you who do not know what my children are like, this is not normal. As she was exiting the room I saw the Nintendo DS she had hidden behind her back.

I woke up this morning at 8:10. LaLa's bus comes at 8:25. We made it. Barely.

According to LaLa "Rockstars love mints!" She says this when she has on her faux leather jacket. It is a ploy to get more mints.

I have news for all of you, but this isn't the forum for it. Will write about it later.

Oh and I am completely addicted to Mumford and Sons. They are a group out of London and are extremely talented. Check em out!

Plus they left the best voicemail on Radio 1 DJ, Greg James' phone ever.

I hate to tell you this; but it only gets worse. But kids and parents survive and kids get families of their own and the cycle starts all over again. LOL! Love the group...thanks for sharing!

Ooo i like the idea of stealing change :) i remember i used to take money from my grandpa's pockets.. he used to leave some change in his pockets whenever he changed pants.. i knew that and i always checked his pockets.... the funniest part was when I was trying to take the change when he was in the room .. oh funny times.. i am pretty sure grandpa knew who the lil' sneaker was.. but it was so much fun:) So i say Kiki, well done:)

Love it! When Princess Nagger doesn't protest going to bed, there's always an ulterior motive as to why. Maybe that's why she wants a DS for Christmas? :)

Princess Nagger things paper money is worthless - so much so that she left her 7 one-dollar bills laying around and the dogs had a great $7 salad.

Stopping in from RTT. I'm glad I am past the stage of trying to get an unwilling child to bed.. but wait, mine is 12, is virtual schooled, so she doesn't have to be up "at the crack of dawn", and many night is up until 11 or midnight right along side of me!

lol. rockstars love mints...and great job making the bus...my youngest keeps all kinds of treasures hidden in his stuffed animals...going to bed is like being searched at the airport for him...smiles.

Cc's forst DS met an untimely fate when my husband caught him playing his DS after bedtime.... Everyone was pisses about it, but he hasn't tried a stunt like that again.
