Yard Sale Day Numero Uno

I woke up at 6:45 this morning for my yard sale that was supposed to be starting at 7. HaHa. Leave it to me to be late to my own yard sale. So I run to the shower, wash my hair with the quickness, throw some clothes on, start some coffee and hurry my ba-donka-donk outside. Yeah. My first customer didn't show up til 8. Go figure. At least it gave me time to drink my coffee, eat a pop tart, and get the yard sale stuff moved from the garage to the driveway.

We sold a good amount of stuff. Made over $100. Not bad for a Friday. Tomorrow we will have the hardcore yard salers (apparently blogger says that isn't a word) out. I hope some more of the girls toys get sold. I have also noticed that people don't buy baby clothes like they used to. Apparently even people who go to yard sales are too good for used baby clothes. Whateva.

In honor of the yardsale I am in protest not cooking tonight. This means that I get to go out to dinner in the town over. Woohoo. Ya'll have a good night.

I thought animals from other country's have to go into quarantine in the UK for six months ? We are free from Rabies, and that used to be strictly followed.
Has it changed ?
I was wondering what you were going to do with your animals, I thought maybe they were going into foster care, for the duration of your tour ;(

That $100 should buy you a nice dinner - enjoy!

Capn- you are forgiven. But only cause I sold it.

jen-Thank you!

josephine- The UK now has a program by which quarantine is done in the US provided that we follow a strict guideline of shots and certifications in order to get into the country. The animals must also be microchiped and wait the six months before entering the country after their FAVN blood screening (for rabies).

Good luck Miss Kat! I love yard sales. In way south Ozarkia...and I'm not kidding you about this...people MAKE A LIVING off constantly going to yard sales and then reselling everything they buy in their own yard sales. Yes, this may sounds as if it's just some kind of 'at home' flea market. I assure, it is not. There's just something bad that happens to people who have yard sales 365 days a year for 6 years straight. In other words, good luck but close it down at the end of the weekend!
