The Darkside

In a Bungalow Far Far Away....The Man has now joined The Darkside. No not THAT Darkside (although that would be awesome!) I joined The Darkside back when I got so sick of Windows based PCs that I impulsively bought a Mac (best decision EVER), and now he has joined The Darkside by scrubbing Windows off his PC and installing Linux. Dun Dun Duuuuunnnn! That P.O.S. PC that he was about to battle axe? Yeah, it works like a dream now. There was nothing wrong with the actual machine, it was the Windows. Now we are just on the learning curve and have to figure out how to use it....

Mac was my first computer, back when it had the tiniest screen imaginable. When I started my online business, I switched to PC... and have regretted that decision to this day! You are such a lucky lady!

I have a HP PC with Vista on it which is great for all the media stuff i.e. photos etc but for the internet? It's shite...wish I could afford a Macbook. Oh well, 3 months travelling is a better purchase right now lol.
Also, can you come to my blog today - I NEED the blogosphere's collective help! I'll love you forever! :-)

terrified to switch over. But I know I should. It's just that I grew up on windows.

I don't know if I could ever make such a switch... I don't think my brain could handle it.

Wants a MAC, John does.
Resistant to the price, I am.
A bitch, the economy is, not me.

I so can't afford a Mac but the real issue is I am so lazy I don't want to learn anything new like a Mac. I tried once when my aunt had one and was so turned off my the lil screen items..
I have an HP PC Laptop and paid thru the butt and agree with above great for all my needs..except for the problems on line..but doable..still.

I've always wondered what it would be like to switch. I think it's a pipe dream at this point.

Linix is AWESOME. We use Linix and have for sometime. Enjoy.

I can't spell it but that doesn't mean, I don't like it and use it. We are a Linux household. There I got it. Linux, Linux, Linux.

My Mac is old now and I soooooo want a new one.

Dear People fearful to switch, shit works and it's friendly. It's not like you're learning a new language, it's just one less button on the mouse.

I've used a Mac only a couple of times. When I build a new computer I use Ubunto. Glad The Man worked out his problem and didn't have to resort to the battle axe.

Love my Macs. Have been using them since early 90's and whenever I am with people with PCs I am reminded yet again why I use Macs! For one, I have never, ever had to have one repaired (I'm touching wood in case I jinx that!).

(BTW, I had to smile when you said 'THAT Darkside would be awesome,' I agree! woo hoo!)

Yay Linux. All my non-Mac computers run it. Um yes, I do have 5 computers, and three are Macs. Oops.

Kids are learning on Macs in the school system here, too. Pretty smart, those Apple people. Good thing they're not running the tobacco industry.
