I am out running amuck in the English countryside. My parents in law are still here visiting. Don't worry, I haven't been getting into too much trouble. Oh and I talked to Amy (from Bitchin Wives Club) on the phone and she made it to the UK and is doing alright other than still not having any broadband. Anyhoo, I am getting sidetracked, yeah so I slacked out and didn't write a Dear So and So for today; but you guys can totally do it and leave your links with Mr Linky for me to read later! That would be awesome.
Have a Great Weekend Guys!
Love Ya Mean It, Kat
PS- I totally suck at leaving voicemail messages. They usually turn into long rambling nonsensical messages that end with "OK...ummm so it is me...give me a call!" Ya know, after I have talked about the weather, what LaLa did that day, and why I haven't called sooner...

Oh so you're one of THOSE voicemail leavers....
I am too, hopeless at voicemail.
Can I just say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dear So and So. I love writing these posts. But, I spent all my time (and I mean all of it) composing the postcards in my head. Do you get over this affliction with time?
I"m guilty of vm rambling too. You are not alone. BTW, Kudos to you for saying parentS-in-law instead of parent-in-lawS. This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. There are more parents, not laws. I'll be posting my dear so and so soon. Have a great time running amok! Do some amok-ing for me!
I love rambling on answer phone messages, and often go very street, using terms like 'keep it real' and 'increase the peace'.
I almost never leave voicemails because they never make any sense. I also ramble and mix up my words... it's just better to send a text message if I can.
I don't like talking to computers.
I hate voicemail. I'd rather send an email if I need to tell you something.
So THAT'S who you were talking about on your Facebook status!
First timer here! And I am okay with the actual message, very businesslike. But when it comes to the end? Okay. Thanks. Bye. Talk to you later. Love you...it can go forever.
I have ALWAYS wanted to run amuck in the English countryside.
dammit.
You suck.
And I'm not doing this today because I suck.
I am always running amuck...
Getting the recordings when I answer my home phone drives me crazy..I am not re-calling you.. YOU called me ..be a real person and not a recording! aarrrgh!
Joanie M. sent me here :-))
I cannot get your follower button to work.. I will be back though!
I'm one of those ramblers on voicemail. I can go on and on for minutes at a time.
Love the Dear So and So idea...
I'm thinking it could be helpful in those moments when it takes every ounce of willpower to just stand still and count to ten in my head...
Hope you are having a great time!
The Chairman is out at the moment. Please leave a message and he'll get back to you shortly.
Hey Kat!!! I'm around now!!! YAY!!!! And to commemorate the start of my new blog, I did a Dear So and So... miss you much...I promise to b back soon!!! XOXO
I've been M.I.A. - sorry! But I had words to say today.
Have fun running amuck!
Gah, I used to be like that with voicemail. Now I get myself so worked up about not knowing what to say that I normally end up just saying "Ummm..." and hanging up.
I generally try to avoid such situations by hanging up after 4 rings.
Have fun in the English countryside! Give it a kiss from me and tell it I'll be back to visit it again soon!
I hate gettin Voice mails, my mom is always like "Call me" Im like I wouldve done that when i see I had a missed call If I get a voicemail I hope its either Drunk, or very descriptive, because call me, pisses me off.
Dear Kat--Thank you for your generous sharing/hosting of Dear So and So. You've probably saved the lives of a few idiots by providing some of us with a way to vent.
Yeah, I'm one of those sucky voicemailers, too. I can't even leave a proper outgoing message. I always end up laughing.
Keep running amok, and have fun!!!
My boss is one of those voicemail leavers. He regularly gets cut off by the beep. Me, I'm a "Hi. It's me. Call me." kind of person.
I ran amuk in the English country side last December... had a great time... I think I was a Brit in a former life..all my music loves are British.
I am now following
xx
I am also one of those, although mine usually end in "umm so well I was just trying to talk, we can talk later, call me back if you want and ummm bye."
I don't like checking my voicemail AT ALL.
It's bad because I own a business and get tons of calls. For some reason I can't begin to explain or understand, checking my voicemail is like having to dig a grave my hands, or having to carry an elephant to a water hole, or having to write out the multiplication tables 16 times from 1 to 12.... I really really hate it.
First and foremost this Ozarks farm chick wants to thank you and your family for the sacrifices you have made for our country. I loved your overheard comments as I wipe the mascara from my eyes. Too funny. You and yours have a wonderfully blessed life.
Stumbled upon your fun tradition from reading "Not from Around Here." And have had the kind of week that inspired me to try it.
