Random Tuesday Thoughts- I Should Start Charging You People for My Crazy ;)

Gooooood morning everyone!  You know what time it is; time to get our RTT on!  My chance to unleash the crazy on all the world.  Have I ever mentioned that Tuesday is now my favorite day of the week?  No?  It is.  Everyone stop by Keely's place, grab a button and release your inner crazy upon the Internets.  It feels really good to get it all out, promise.
I woke up this morning 8 minutes before my alarm.  What is up with that?

randomtuesday

KiKi has started this thing about when she really wants to emphasize something she is saying she shrugs her shoulders up and down as she is saying each word.

This has been making me laugh all week.  Chad, you need to start saving for the therapy bills now, or writing a legal document specifying what retirement home you want to go to.

Lately I have had this thing about tortillas.  I want to eat everything on a tortilla.  Of course there are rules to this to, if I call it a "wrap" it is healthy if I call it a "burrito" it is unhealthy.  Don't question my methods.

Keira has been walking around singing "Winnie Apu, Winnie Apu" and I know she is singing "Winnie the Pooh" but I can't help but giggle and think of Apu from The Simpsons.  Sing it in your head I guarantee you will be thinking about the owner of the Kwik-E-Mart.

I was on my way to the Commissary on Monday morning at 10 AM and had a pigeon fly over my car and crap on my windshield.  Since I was driving at roughly 30 mph,  it did this lovely splat and spread over my window.  I have it out for pigeons now.  I disliked them before, now they are toast.  I mean it took me 4 attempts of washing my windows with the little squirty window cleaning thingy next to the wipers to get my windshield clean.

I have got to come up with a way to get my kids to leave my husband and my stuff alone.  Short of cutting off hands that is.  In the past few days they have lost a camera memory card and an iPod docking station.  We found the memory card.  The iPod docking station is still missing.  Guess The Man won't have tunes for a while until we can get a new one.

LaLa for the first time tried to use the line "Super pretty please with a cherry on top!"  It didn't work.  She still had to go find her jammies and get ready for bed.

England is insanely expensive and the exchange rate sucks right now.  Enough said on that issue.

I hope I didn't worry anyone with yesterday's post.  We don't know that my husband is going anywhere dangerous at any time.  We do know it is a possibility in the future though.  Just one of those things.

Chocolate chip muffins must have been invented by a PMS-ing woman.

Ok that is all I got for right now.  Thanks for listening, you guys are great!

You can even do PBJ on a wrap! Yum!

My dear Kay, I would never question your methods (backing away slowly, looking for exit), never, no...

BTW, your post on the Fear was excellent. Bravo!

dammit, I mean 'Kat' not 'Kay'. My apologies...it's early and I'm eating breakfast :)

Oh Winnie Apu, lol thats good times! He can get MAD honey at the quickie mart, w/ MANY less bees!

You're right, it is terribly expensive. And I never forget it!

I kind of figured England was expensive but I'd still like to cross the pond for a decent pub crawl.

Poor Liam but oh so funny.

Ohhh, you are so right about wrap vs. burrito. I wouldn't ever eat a burrito....why? Because it's not healthy. Wraps, all the time. Again, don't question me.

And in my yard, pigeons are known as rats with wings.

Nice blog! Can I follow??

this was fantastic randomness. thanks for the giggle

Ha! Last night, while brushing my teeth to go to bed, I thought, "Hmm..I think I'll have a wrap for lunch tomorrow!"

Because apparently I can not stop thinking about my next meal because I'm lame like that.

Anyway, my wrap, should you care, will have a smear of onion and chive cream cheese, some romain lettuce, some turkey or ham, and a pickle. In theory, it should be healthy, but oh, I like a wee bit too much onion and chive cream cheese!

Tortillas/wraps are awesome! You can do a lot with them.

I can just picture her with her shoulders going up and down, too cute. Kids can be so entertaining...most of the time.

I grew up in Texas and never got into the whole "wrap" thing. It's a burrito. Those ham and cheese things with lettuce? A burrito. A strange burrito, but a burrito all the same.

Ewwwwwww on the whole pigeon thing. I thought everyone/thing in GB was supposed to be all polite and stuff.

My trio turns 5 tomorrow, and like KiKi they're trying to charm me into getting what they want. JuJu has created the grin of the Cheshire cat followed by a kiss on the cheek (when she wants something especially treats).

I think we should be charging you for these therapy sessions.

I just became your 150th follower. Ta-da! Also, burritos are bad because they come from Taco Bell. I love burritos.

Pigeon shit is like glue. Almost as bad a Seagulls (it's like a pigeon that lives by the ocean). Nothing short of acid will remove it!

I love my tortillas fried. Otherwise, they are too floury tasting or something.

He he, Winnie Apu, that will stick with me..

I'd like video footage of KiKi doing the shrugging emphasizing thought thing, please.

Yummm, chocolate chip muffins could be very dangerous!

Down on the corner at the Quik E Mart where Homer Simpson plays....Winnie Apu, Winnie Apy. Great stuff. I especially like yoru thoughts on tortillas too. I love them and from now on will call everything a wrap.

Stacy Uncorked said...

I absolutely love your take: "if I call it a "wrap" it is healthy if I call it a "burrito" it is unhealthy." I am so going to start calling everything burrito-like a wrap... ;)

Now I have "Winnie Apu, Winnie Apu" running through my head...I think I'll annoy Princess Nagger with it when she gets home from school... ;)

Happy RTT! :)

Really?? I kept thinking of Abu, from Aladdin, which is really weird when you put him together with Winnie and it really doesnt make any sense for me to think of Abu and it says Apu but.... anyway. This is YOUR random rambling! Not mine lol!

Happy RTT!
I played too!

I always envisioned winnie the pooh having a brother named stinky, lol! It is funny that when I read the line about the kids needing to leave your stuff alone, the first thing that popped int my head was , You could cut their hands off, then I read your next line haha!

Ahhhh yes, I remember tortilla's. I loved them back in the day when carbo's didn't attach themselves to my hips like metal to magnet. Nowadays, tortilla's and I are not on speaking terms. Sad...

Don't tell me that about the exchange rate. . . my oldest daughter's moving there next month. . .

If there's money, she can spend it!

Can't stand to wake up before the alarm.

Creepy crapping pigeons!

Pigeon shit is like alien blood, I swear.

*sings* Winnie Apu, Winnie Apu...

can i have a chocolate chip muffin? pretty please with a cherry on top? :)

Cara said...

A wrap automatically equals healthy eating! Choco chip muffins? Not so healthy but totally worth it.

And birds? Personally, I think all birds should "join wings" & take a group jump off of a cliff.

If you figure out a way to keep the kids out of your stuff, let me know. I have the same problem here!

The expense of living in Europe has me terrified of what's in store for us when we move to Italy in August. My husband and I actually end up losing money (our COLA won't make up for what we'll lose in BAH. Our mortgage isn't even half of what we get in BAH, so it ends up being a good chunk of change :( ).

Yes, anything with chocolate was invented by a pms-ing woman. However, have you heard my theory that wine was created by a mother of 2 girls that was trying to make juice and got side tracked while parenting, came back to it several days later and said, "oh yeah, THAT's what I forgot to do!" She tasted it, just to see if it was salvageable. It was. But as wine instead of juice! :)

So if I order a steak and cheese 'wrap' it's good for me? I wonder if we could put those chocolate muffins into wraps...

Bex said...

mmmm.... chocolate chip!

i was about to make your day and advise a PB&J wrap ... then, i glanced to my left and see that yaya has beat me to the punch. foiled!

Good times! If you keep going on the Winnie Apu theme, you can make quite a song...

Has anyone in the UK told you that it's "only the things an American would buy are expensive. British items are reasonable." I wanted to choke the woman who told me that. Dude, I was buying HobNobs...

Our granddaughters have lost the finial from a glass table and a gumby-like male figure that has my husband's picture in it for a head. So far neither of them has turned up. If you find the docking station, lemme know because perhaps that's where we'll find the finial and gumby in our house!
