Rain Drops on Roses and Whiskers on Kittens...

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens

Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles

Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes

Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites
When the bee stings

When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

I'm not so good at that. If a dog bites me, or if a bee stings me, or if - God forbid - I get bitten by a dog while being stung by a bee, I forget all about my favourite things and throw a paddy.

Kat, is that your kitty? I have one that looks exactly like that, no kidding. His name is Duncan. I'll twitpic a photo to you. I almost killed my cat when I was a teenager because I didn't see she was sleeping in the dryer. She got a nice tumble dry.
